Anbudsgivaren ska bedriva färjetrafik mellan Vårdö och Simskäla i Vårdö kommun på Åland (Se karta i dokument 05). Anbudsgivaren ska under avtalstiden trafikera enligt de av Beställaren fastställda villkoren. Entreprenaden utgör en driftentreprenad, där Beställaren tillhandahåller en färja (se dokument 04) och Anbudsgivaren ansvarar för bemanningen, det löpande underhållet ombord och driftskostnaderna (förutom bränslekostnader) (se dokument 10 och 11)
